Synopsis

After a nuclear bomb detonates off the coast of Los Angeles, a once-pampered nation devolves into brutal chaos. Picking up where the film ends, the Homestead series follows the survivors within the Homestead as they clash against one another and the violent world outside.

Absurd and unrealistic, that's my first and enduring impression of "Homestead". Its the end of the world but rather than worrying about marauders and where the next meal is coming from our "survivors" are busy worrying about depression, existentialism, a woman controlling the group (why does she need to control anyone?) and surprise, surprise,toxic masculinity.
