How scores work
How WatchAndFind scores work
Two audiences, two numbers, no weighted magic. Every score on WatchAndFind is a plain percentage you can recalculate yourself from the reviews shown on the page.
Critic score
The share of aggregated critic reviews rated fresh. Ten reviews with eight fresh verdicts is an 80. We publish the underlying quote and a link to the source for every review that feeds the number.
Fan score
The share of signed-in fans who rated a title 3.5 stars or higher. One account, one rating per title, editable at any time. The full star distribution is shown on each title page so you can see whether a score is loved or merely liked.
Reviewer Favorites
A title earns the seal at a critic score of 75 or higher, with at least five aggregated reviews and at least one Top Critic among them. The seal is removed if the score later falls below 70.
Top Critics
Top Critics are reviewers whose work our editors track for consistency, reach and independence — established publications, long-running broadcast critics and recognised festival writers. Every title page lets you switch between all critics and Top Critics only, so you can see whether a score holds up in a narrower room.
Critics consensus
The consensus is a short editorial summary written by the WatchAndFind newsroom after reading the aggregated reviews. It is opinion about the reviews, not a review itself, and it never changes the score.
Corrections
Reviews are added, edited and removed by our newsroom, and scores recalculate instantly whenever they change. If we have misquoted a critic or attributed a verdict incorrectly, tell us and we will fix it.
